Q. Which areas do you operate in?
A. Wild Contracts try to cover most of the county of Worcestershire, as we are ideally positioned both in Worcester and Redditch.
Q. Do you work for the general public?
A. Yes, both for tree surgery and countryside work. The other half of our work involves maintaining public rights of way for the county council including installing footpath and bridleway gates, stiles and bridges.
Q. What qualifications do you carry?
A. We are fully NPTC trained (City and Guilds) in tree climbing, chainsaw operation from a rope and harness, tree felling, and brush-cutter and woodchipper use.
We have attended several courses pruning fruit trees as well as FWAG courses (the government farming and wildlife advisory group) on hedgerow management and integrating farming and wildlife.
Stuart has a degree in Ecology from the University of Leeds.
We are also council approved contractors.
Q. What insurance do you carry?
A. We carry professional foresters' insurance for public and products liability for £10 million and employers' liability insurance. We also have a waste carriers' licence.
